Finding a therapist with the expertise you need can be tough.

Many people struggle with symptoms not well understood in standard therapy practice.

Symptoms can be debilitating and lead to persistent pain, poor functional status and poor quality of life.

Identifying the cause of symptoms and the appropriate treatment, takes the necessary training and dedication.

My training and experience enable me to help people with their symptoms and improve their lives.

I am passionate about raising awareness of these conditions, to patients, therapists and healthcare in general.

I also work in the NHS Queen Victoria Hospital Trust receiving referrals from consultant maxillofacial, ENT, neurology, gerontology, rheumatology and GPs

I can see patients in my clinic, in their own home or virtually

TMD refers to issues related to the jaw joint (the temporomandibular joint or TMJ) and related structures. Symptoms include pain in the TMJ and surrounding muscles, the face, neck, shoulder, headache, problems chewing, mouth opening restriction, clicking, popping, locking jaw, tinnitus, ear pain, ear fullness and dizziness.

Many people suffer from symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, light-headedness, unbalance and the causes vary. Often the cause is the vestibular system, the inner ear balance systems or how the brain is interpreting the information given to, but there are many others such as the neck. Determining the cause of the symptoms is key to successful treatment.

This is the branch of physiotherapy that is concerned with the muscles, bones, joints of the body and how they function. Most people will of accessed it at some point for an injury, after surgery, or for an area of pain such as lower back pain.
